GOMI Gulf of Maine Institute
Students from Environmental Field Studies Group have made an effort to reach out beyond CCHS. In past years, we attended three Gulf of Maine Institute conferences, one at Plum Island in Newburyport, MA. The conferences bring together students from different schools that are all within the Gulf of Maine watershed. In Newburyport, students from Nova Scotia who also raised Blanding’s turtles posed for a photo with our group (above). Our group, enjoying the sunshine and the beach, is shown below.
