Fishing Club
Fishing has been a huge hobby of ours for a long time, and over quarantine, we discovered that it was a great way to distract us from all the crazy things that were going on in our lives at the time. We used fishing to destress ourselves by connecting with nature and the world around us during a time when social interaction was limited and the world was operated through screens. Fishing can serve as a great way for students at CCHS to take an occasional break from pressures they may experience at school and home. We believe fishing provides an opportunity different from the toxicity and addictive nature of social media and video games. Not only is it incredibly rewarding, it gives us a chance to connect with ourselves, with others, with nature, and to have lots of fun. In our club, we will cover the ins and outs of fishing, from gear, techniques, and fish finding. We welcome both new and experienced anglers.
