Looking for Fall Semester Classroom Volunteers (ages 15+)
We are looking for classroom volunteers to assist with our Fall semester classes. As a
classroom volunteer you will work directly with the class teacher and help the students with the
daily art lesson. Volunteering for this position requires a commitment for the Full Fall Semester
Available Classes:
● Paint & Create – Art From Around The World (ages 8-12) Monday Sept 23 – Nov 25
(No Class Oct. 14 & Nov. 11) | 4:00pm – 5:00pm
● Stop Motion Animation (ages 8-12) Monday Sept 23 – Nov 25 (No Class Oct. 14 & Nov.
11) | 4:30pm – 6:00pm
● Youth Wheel Throwing (ages 8-12) Tuesday Sept 24 – Nov 12 | 4:00pm – 6:00pm
● Early Release: Youth Hand-Building (ages 5-8) Wednesday Sept 25 – Nov 13 |
2:30pm-3:30pm

The Umbrella’s EXPECTATIONS for Classroom Volunteers:
● Be on Time. Plan to arrive at least 10-15 minutes early to assist with set up and stay for 15
minutes after to assist with clean-up.
● Let the Teacher & Education Program Manager know if you are going to be late or absent in
advance – please provide as much notice as possible
● Assist the teacher & students during class time
● Be a positive role model.
● Engage with the children in a fun and positive way.
● Do your part in the cleanup process, if everybody helps, it takes less time to accomplish all the
tasks.
● Take Initiative! Gain awareness of what is needed at any particular time.
● Help to inspire!
● Follow and enforce all health & safety protocols.
