The Explore program compliments our SMILE (Summer Math Intervention and Literacy Engagement) program. The goal of the Explore program is to provide enriching experiences with a focus on Social Emotional Learning for elementary aged students. Students in the program participate in experiences in Art, Science, Music, and Physical Education.

Where: Peter Noyes Elementary School in Sudbury, MA

When: July 10-August 4 (M-F). They could sign up for one session or multiple sessions.

Time: Volunteers could come for a morning session 8:30-11:30 or afternoon session 12-3pm.

Expectations: Volunteers will be expected to take direction from a lead counselor or activity leader while working with a small group of students. They will not ever be expected to be alone with students. There will always be another staff member with them at all times. They need to be able to model good behavior and interactions. The Explore program activities are: Art, Science, Music, and Physical Education.
