VOLUNTEERS NEEDED @ THE COA – TECH TUTORS – It Will Make You Feel Good

Senior citizens are eager to learn more and get tech help from a friendly person, especially high school students.  Requests from seniors range from:  how can I get on Zoom?  How can I take and store a picture on my smart phone?  How can I download on my computer?  How do I know if a link is safe?  The COA has a tech lab and schedules tutor help Monday – Thursday 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM.  Come help out 1x per month, 2x per month or every week.

Reach out to us and we will send you a volunteer application to get you going.  This is a good community service opportunity.  The COA is located at 1276 Main St., the Harvey Wheeler Community Building, in West Concord.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED @ THE COA – BULLETIN BOARD HELP – The Old-Fashioned Kind

In the lounge of the COA building there are three bulletin boards that Concord senior residents look at for fun and interest.  The boards are always in need of attention.  Do you have a creative & visual soul?  If you enjoy making something out of nothing, the COA would appreciate your help!  Whether monthly or quarterly we invite you to our lounge to create your vision that speaks to older adults.  We will supply you with ideas, basic supplies and let you go at it.  This is nice opportunity for community service and will be appreciated by everyone.  The COA is located at 1276 Main St., the Harvey Wheeler Community Building, in West Concord.  We will send you a volunteer application as soon as we hear from you.
