Wish Project, Lowell
Agency Name: The Wish Project, Lowell
Commitment: One Time or Ongoing
Description:

There are several ways in which you can help us to help the community:

  • Volunteer in the warehouse – We need help with daily warehouse tasks such as sorting and organizing incoming donations, assembling kits for clients to pick up, assisting clients as they select clothing, assist donors as they drop off items, work on seasonal projects like Backpack Attack and Magic of Christmas, and more.
  • Work on a project from home – We are often in need of volunteers to pick up items to work on from home. Please email us for a current list of available projects.
  • Host a collection drive – This is the best way to make big impact on the community. Help us to restock shelves with our most needed items by coordinating a collection in your school, town, church, or community. Email us for more details and for a list of our current greatest needs.
  • Host a themed party – Gather your friends, family, neighbors, or classmates for a baby shower, housewarming, or other themed party. Ask each attendee to bring an item off of a registry or list to donate!
  • Fundraising – we are a nonprofit organization that runs completely on donations. We are always in need of monetary donations to help us cover operational costs such as rent and utilities. Please consider hosting a fundraiser to help us continue the work we do to support our community.
Days/Times Needed: Volunteer hours are Tuesday-Saturday 9am-3pm
Additional Information: Please fill out our volunteer application to get started and we will be in touch to schedule a volunteer shift. We do not accept walk ins due to space restrictions. We also have offsite opportunities. Please email us for more details.
