Description:
“Art for All” at the Village Art Room – Expanded Hours!

We are looking for students to assist at an arts and crafts class for people with physical and mental disabilities.  Art for All takes place each Wednesday from 1 to 3 pm at the Village Art Room, 152 Commonwealth Avenue in West Concord, above Nashoba Brook Bakery. The class will be led by an art teacher.  Students will assist people during the class. Comfort with art supplies is helpful, but patience and enjoyment of a diverse range of people is more important. Please inquire only if you will be able to come each week for at least four weeks.

We have expanded our hours for the Art for All program and it now includes more opportunities, and more to come, for students to volunteer.  We are funded, in part through grants from the Mass Cultural Council.  Presently, we have free drop-in times on Sunday afternoons, 1 to 4, Monday evenings, 6:30 to 8:30 and Tuesday afternoon from 1:30 to 4:30. We have other times as well when we need volunteers preparing the room and materials. Please contact Margot by email:  margot@villageartroom.com  CLICK HERE
