CCHS Later Start Time Public Forum The Concord-Carlisle Regional School Committee invites you to a Public Forum to discuss the initiative to move the high school start time to 8:00 AM.  The forum will be held Tuesday, April 4 from 7:00-8:30 PM in the CCHS Learning Commons.  Please join us to learn about the initiative, discuss the logistics and challenges of implementation, ask questions, and share input. Annual CCHS Lacrosse Spring Clean Up  – Saturday, April 29,  CCHS Lacrosse players will rake, haul, spread mulch and perform light yard work for residents of Concord and Carlisle.  Only $20 per player, per hour and all proceeds go to the CCHS Lacrosse program.  Work crews run from 9 am – 1 pm, with a minimum of 2 players.  This is our only fundraiser and it sells out, so reserve your crew today!   Sign Up Here

The Willard PTG is looking for volunteers to help with childcare at the Willard Elementary School for school aged children on two separate occasions during the public Parent Principal Forums: Tuesday, March 28 from 5:15 pm – 7:45 pm and Wednesday, March 29 from 5:15 pm to 6:45 pm.  Please contact Candace Root and Lindsay Bogerpresidents@willardptg.org if you are interested in helping on one or both evenings.

Class of 2018 Parent Discussion: Thursday, March 30, 8:00-9:30 AM in the Learning Commons. Please join the guidance department for a question and answer discussion around college planning.

CONTINUING EVENTS

The English Department is sponsoring its annual Paula Sirois Poetry Contest.  Everyone is welcome to submit 2 – 3 poems.  Please write your name, YOG and English teacher’s name on a separate piece of paper and submit your poems to Ms. Peterson in Room 315.  Deadline for submission is Friday, March 31.

COMMUNITY EVENTS

SAT Prep Bootcamp If you’re preparing for the May test, join us for a two-session bootcamp course on Saturdays, April 1 & 29 from 9 am – 1pm. Cost: $280

CPR/AED Informational Class (Bystander CPR  Join CC ACE on April 4 for a one-night workshop that teaches important lifesaving skills that can be used in everyday life: How to recognize a medical emergency, activating EMS (911), adult hands-only CPR, adult CPR with breaths, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR, and mild and severe airway block for adults, children, and infants (choking). Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment with an emphasis on hands-on practice for students. Summer Camp Scholarships: There are scholarship opportunities for summer camp and summer extracurricular activities for Concord and Carlisle youth ages toddler to young adult. Here Comes Concord Youth Theatre’s Spring Fundraiser!  Don’t be an (April) Fool – Join us on Saturday, April 1 for Lest We Jest, a fundraising event to support Concord Youth Theatre.
