Boys Basketball Home Friday, February 10. CCHS vs. Wayland. Senior Night will begin at 6:30, prior to the start of the game to honor their eight seniors. The players have also asked all their fans for a “Silent Night” psych. At the start of the game, fans should remain silent until CC scores their tenth point, at which time, all fans should erupt with cheers!

On Monday February 13, 7:00 – 8:30 PM, at Bedford High School, NAMI Central Middlesex will offer a panel presentation entitled “Mental Health Stability in College”. Panelists will be a former student sharing her personal college story and administrators from three-area colleges – Boston University, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and Middlesex Community College. The event is free and open to high school and college age families in Middlesex County and surrounding areas. It is co-sponsored by Bedford High School. No registration required.

CONTINUING EVENTS
Student training for the Anti-Defamation League’s World of Difference Institute will be Friday, February 10 at the Ripley Building, 120 Meriam Road, from 8:00 – 2:00 p.m. Student leaders can take the bus from CCHS at 7:45 – meet in the main lobby – or they can come directly to Ripley. Please arrive by 7:45. Pizza lunch will be served, please bring snacks and water. Bus transportation back to CCHS is available in time for dismissal and after school activities.
Friday, February 10 there will be a Red Cross blood drive between 8:30 and 1:30 in the Maroon Gym! Faculty and students over the age of 16 are eligible to give blood, and their donation would be greatly appreciated. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. If interested please email Eleanor Mathias at emathias17@concordcarlisle.org Sign-ups will be happening everyday between today, February 1 through February 9 during lunch blocks in the cafeteria, people can also request an appointment by email. CONCORD-CARLISLE HIGH SCHOOL BAND AND ORCHESTRA PROUDLY PRESENTS:PRISM 2017 Saturday, February 11 @ 7pm CCHS Auditorium The Concord-Carlisle High School Bands and Orchestra will present their annual PRISM Concert on Saturday, February 11 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium at Concord-Carlisle High School. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students (K-12) and seniors. Tickets (reserved seating) are available at www.ticketstage.com(Search for Concord-Carlisle HS and Prism Concert 2017). Additional tickets may be available at the door but you should order online for the best options! “PRISM” is a non-stop musical kaleidoscope, showcasing the talented student musicians of the Concord-Carlisle High School Bands and Orchestra. A variety of musical styles and ensembles will be presented throughout the performing space, creating an interactive experience for the audience. This is an annual event to help support the Alfred W. Dentino Excellence in Music Fund. This fund helps support the many needs of the program, including District and State fees and private lesson scholarships.

We will cover the factors that influence a student’s college preferences, special timelines, recruiting regulations and terminology, the different NCAA divisions, how to develop an outreach campaign to make coaches aware of you, what coaches are looking for and how to interview with a coach, and academic and athletic action items for each year of high school – and more! Parents and students are welcome to join us on February 14 & 16, 7-9 pm.
SAT Prep Bootcamp for the March test Our workshop with Summit Educational Group includes one full-length practice test and one 4-hour instructional session, and has been specifically designed to give your child an overview of the academic skills and strategies he or she will need on test day.
