We are looking for 4 student and 4 parent volunteers to join a faculty working group! For the past two summers the faculty and staff have been enjoying a shared summer reading experience.  Based on this, we want to open this activity up to the CCHS community with a “twist” on summer reading.  Instead of a list of books, we are proposing a question-based format for consideration over the summer.  Newton North High School has had a very good experience with this approach, and last year chose this as their community question: Why do people put themselves in other people’s shoes, and what can we learn from that?”  You can see the resource list generated by their community question here. Interested students and members of the parent community can email Robin Cicchetti (rcicchetti@concordcarlisle.org) for more information. Please mention your graduating class year, as well as potential ideas for our community question.
