AFS seeking family to host exchange student for 2nd semester of 2016-17 academic year.  CCHS has welcomed exchange students from all over the world for over 30 years through AFS (formerly American Field Service). The Concord Carlisle AFS Chapter is looking for a family to host an exchange student, already at CCHS, for the second half of the 2016-2017 academic year. Hosting an AFS exchange student is a wonderful, rewarding and often life-changing experience for a family. The exchange students are carefully selected in their home countries and are well prepared for a successful year with an American family attending an academically challenging high school like CCHS. Previous host families have ranged from those with young children to high schoolers, and even included empty nesters.   If you are interested in hosting or know of a family that may be interested, please contactKristin Nelson (nelson.kristin1@gmail.com) or Rick Briggs (rdbriggsjr@gmail.com).
