Free VHS Study Skills Course Thanks to a generous, anonymous grant, we are pleased to be able to offer a free 4-week online study skills class to all interested 9th-grade students. It is our intention to extend the offer to other grades later this year. We are piloting this offering in collaboration with the Virtual High School. The class will commence following midyear exams and will run for four weeks, up to the beginning of February break. Students can expect approximately five hours of work per week, focusing on time management skills, note-taking and test preparation/test taking strategies. The course modules have been designed by the Landmark School in Beverly. Students who are interested should sign up via this Google Form date extended to December 19, 2016. TODAY, December 16, from 7-9PM in the cafeteria, UNICEF Club will be hosting a rock concert to support relief efforts in Haiti after the immense destruction and casualties caused by Hurricane Matthew. Concord and Carlisle Youth Holiday Gift Drive December 1-16 – CC Youth Services and CC Community Chest are teaming up again this year to collect donations of new, unwrapped gifts and toys for youth ages 0-16. The donated gifts will be distributed to eligible Concord, Carlisle and Metco youth and families. Items in high demand include bath and body products, board games, Boston sports team-themed merchandise, pajamas/robes/cozy socks, science kits, and action figures.
