NEW EVENTS

Girls Varsity Soccer vs Reading Today, Friday, November 4 at 3 pm at Reading High School.

Varsity Field Hockey vs Andover Today, Friday, November 4 at 6:30 pm at Andover High School.  Tickets $5 for adults and $3 for students.

Varsity Boys Soccer vs Belmont Saturday, November 5 at 5:00 pm at CCHS Memorial Field.

Seniors – We will be having a mandatory informational session about this spring’s internship program for any senior interested in participating.  Whether you have already signed up or not, please plan to meet in the Learning Commons on Wednesday, November 16th at 2:30pm.

HOBY: Each year CCHS sends several students from the Sophomore class to the Hugh O’Brien Youth State Leadership Seminar. HOBY’s flagship program, the State Leadership Seminar (LS) is designed to help high school sophomores to recognize their leadership talents and apply them to become effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, workplace and community. Winter sport registration is now open – All students wishing to participate in a winter sport must register prior to Nov. 21, 2016. http://www.familyid.com/concord-carlisle-high-school

The CCHS Nordic Ski team will have a Kick-off Meeting on Monday, November 7 at 2:15 pm in Room 121, off the cafeteria. Meet the coaches, hear from the captains, receive schedule and other information. Our men and women’s teams are among the best in the state plus Mass Bay West league defending champions. Monday, November 7, 7:00-8:30 pm  First Parish in Concord. The discussion will explore the role of teachers, parents and students in achieving racial equity and cultural proficiency. What are you doing on the next day off?  5K and 1M Road Race Friday, November 11 for all ages hosted by the Carlisle Council on Aging with help from the Carlisle Veterans Committee and support from the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest. Strategies for Reducing Academic Stress & Creating Successful Students: Executive Function Workshop (Free) – Wednesday, November 9, 2016, 7:00-8:30 pm, CCHS Learning Commons. Learn strategies to help your child better manage his/her nightly homework, including planning, organizational, and time management strategies. Please join Dan Levine and Melissa Wilson of Engaging Minds for a free workshop designed specifically for parents of students in grades 5-12, though open to any parent whose student can benefit. For planning purposes, an RSVP is appreciated but not required: Strategies for Reducing Academic Stress. Please join SEPAC for refreshments between 6:30-7pm. Seeking Representatives for the Superintendent Search Committee.  The CCHS Parents Association has been charged by the Concord Carlisle Regional School Committee to select 1 parent from Concord and 1 parent from Carlisle to serve on the Superintendent Search Committee.
