Winter sport registration is now open – All students wishing to participate in a winter sport must register prior to Nov. 21, 2016. http://www.familyid.com/concord-carlisle-high-schoolUpdated physical must be on file in the nurse’s office prior to the first day of practice Nov. 28.

All Sophomores are scheduled to meet with their guidance counselors November 3 – November 9.  A letter was mailed home with the appointment time. If you can’t find the letter please click here

The CCHS Nordic Ski team will have a Kick-off Meeting on Monday November 7 at 2:15 PM in Room 121, off the cafeteria. Meet the coaches, hear from the captains, receive schedule and other information. Our men’s and women’s teams are among the best in the state plus Mass Bay West league defending champions. If you cannot attend this meeting, email your interest to coaches Jeff Campbell at jeffcampbll@gmail.com and/or Jeff Parker at whippp@gmail.com. Refer also to the team’s website (updates coming) at https://sites.google.com/site/cchsnordicskiing/home. IMPORTANT: A follow-on Parents Information Session will be held on Monday, Nov. 14 6:00 pm in the CCHS cafeteria. It’s essential at least one parent attend this important meeting. Athletes, please pass this date along!

Our Fall TENNIS Session ends soon.  November 2 meet in Mr. Spence’s Room 332 at 2:30 pm, then we’ll head to the Tennis Courts from 2:55 pm to 4:15 pm. November 9 & 16 meet at the CCHS Tennis Courts at 2:45 pm – 4:15 pm.

CCHS’ Annual Teacher Appreciation dinner is Thursday, November 10 (Conference Day).  Please consider showing your appreciation for the teachers at CCHS by helping out!

Varsity Field Hockey – CC vs Methuen TODAY, Wednesday, November 2 at 3:30 at Memorial Field!

A preseason meeting for all boys interested in playing basketball this winter will be held on TODAY Wednesday, November  2 at 2:15 in Room 121. All levels – freshman through Varsity should attend. See Coach Joncas in Rm 225 with questions.

Please come to the first Ruettgers Lecture of the year: “How did we get here? Four perspectives from three academic disciplines on the history, trends, and anomalies that mark this year’s election.”  Presented by four CCHS teachers.  Today, Wednesday, November 2, 2016.  Refreshments at 2:15, Lecture at 2:30 in Room 242.

THANKSGIVING DONATIONS AND VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – Our CCHS community is once again pleased to be hosting a traditional Thanksgiving meal for senior citizens from Concord and Carlisle on Saturday November 19.  Parents can support this beloved event by donating a turkey or cider, by making a financial gift, and/or by volunteering to work at the luncheon.  The CCHS Kitchen Staff will be accepting frozen turkey donations immediately.  To sign up to bring in a frozen turkey or cider, go to: Click HereTo sign up to volunteer at the luncheon, go to: Click Here

HOBY’s flagship program, the State Leadership Seminar (LS) is designed to help high school sophomores to recognize their leadership talents and apply them to become effective, ethical leaders in their home, school, workplace and community. Seeking Representatives for the Superintendent Search Committee.  The CCHS Parents Association has been charged by the Concord Carlisle Regional School Committee to select 1 parent from Concord and 1 parent from Carlisle to serve on the Superintendent Search Committee.
