Albert B. & Evelyn H. Black Fund: Bank of America serves as Trustee for this account and offers the scholarship each year to past and present students of Concord-Carlisle High School. Applicants can receive up to $3,000 in any academic year and up to $7,500 total. They must be in the top half of their high school class or in good academic standing at their graduate institution. The Trustee will select recipients on the basis of academic record, financial need and general appearance of the scholarship application. The Trustee will give strong consideration to the essay questions (Part III) and to the accuracy and orderliness of answers to questions of fact (Part I and II). Interact Club is hosting a Children’s Carnival (K-8) on Sat April 30th from 10-2 on the grass field behind the football field for Save the Children – Syria. We will have carnival games, face painting stations, prizes, etc! We’re hoping for a great turn out so the fundraiser is huge success! We’re also looking for parent volunteers to help man the stations and clean-up/break down. Contact Ms. Wozniak or Lauren Backerman ’16 if interested!

April Recess – CCHS Driver Education class Students who will be 16 years old by July 18th of this year may enroll in the April class, 30 hours of RMV-required classroom. It meets Monday to Friday, April 18-22, 9 am to 3:30 pm each day. Behind-the-wheel instruction begins when a student obtains her/his Learner Permit; lessons are individually scheduled seven days a week throughout the year. Concord Carlisle Chess Club starts Spring series For grades 3-up, the Concord-Carlisle Chess Club meets in West Concord each Sunday afternoon from 2-5 pm for instruction and play. Chess Master Vadim Martirosov conducts lessons, training and optional tournament preparation to all levels. Newcomers may drop in for recreational play and to learn about the Club. Vadim is a highly experienced Chess Master who has taught for CC Chess since the Club was founded 3 years ago. He has taught and mentored students of all ages, beginners to master level.
