Welcome to the Health and Fitness Department
The Health and Fitness Program aims to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to lead active, healthy lives. This required program for grades 9-12 combines health education and physical education. Health education is a quarter-long unit for 9th graders and juniors, while for sophomores, health topics are integrated throughout the Health & Fitness course.
These offerings cover a wide range of health and fitness topics, catering to different grade levels and interests, from general physical fitness to specialized training like lifeguarding and first aid.
