Estabrook Woods Walks

Estabrook Woods is over 1000 acres conserved by private landowners and the towns of Concord and Carlisle.  We have visited it in fall, winter, and spring.  It is a treasure of glacial features like erratics, an esker, and kettle holes and the home to numerous species.  On walks there, we have seen salamanders, frog eggs, owls, a beaver, various bird species, and many species of plants.

Four of the CCHS Blanding’s turtle nestlings were released in Estabrook in 2014.
