Spanish 4 Honors Overview

 

Spanish 4 Honors is a year long course which emphasizes the development of advanced reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.  It is intended for students who already have a basic knowledge of the language and culture of the Spanish-speaking world. Extensive oral and written work will be based on a variety of journalistic and literary readings in Spanish.  The language laboratory is used regularly for extensive listening and speaking practice.  Students will also watch authentic Spanish videos.  Differentiated instruction, such as working in small groups, pairs or individually, helps all students to improve their reading, writing, comprehension and speaking skills and it foster the  development of communicative proficiency.  This course seeks to develop language skills that are valuable for everyday communication.
